Zero Tolerance Policy

Condamine Medical Centre expects that all patients and visitors will be respectful and courteous when interacting with staff. Patients and visitors should:

  • treat others as they would like to be treated
  • use appropriate speaking level and tone
  • communicate without using threats, abuse or offensive language
  • act without using offensive gestures or behaviour

 

Condamine Medical Centre staff will:

  • endeavour to be courteous and helpful
  • provide what information they can, to assist with enquiry

 

Should Condamine Medical Centre staff be subject to abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour, they will:  

  1. Advise that they will be unable to assist if the behaviour continues.
  2. Warn that they will end the conversation if the aggressive behaviour continues.
  3. End the conversation if the aggressive behaviour continues and if patient/visitor is in the clinic, request that they leave immediately.
  4. Should the behaviour/s continue, the police may be called to assist.
  5. Failure to comply with CMC/police directives may result in patient being banned from the centre.
