About Us

Condamine Medical Centre (CMC) was established in 2000 following the amalgamation of three general practices in the city of Warwick by Doctors Hetherington, Kiss, Slattery, Ackermann, Doolan and Hudson. Consultations started on the 1st July 2000 in a fully computerized, purpose-built building funded by the Warwick Friendly Society.

The centre had 3 minor op rooms and a 6-bay casualty area with 8 consulting rooms.  In 2010 this was expanded to 16 consult rooms and a 10-bay casualty area.

The city of Warwick is the capital of the Southern Darling Downs a rich agricultural area set just to the west of Brisbane over the Great Dividing Range.

The area is supported by farming, sheep and cattle grazing, tourism and secondary industry.

The town is the service centre to population of over 25,000 and has a base hospital with over 20 doctors on staff.

Stanthorpe, a town known for its wineries, apple orchards, national parks and occasional snow falls is only 45 minutes to the south. The national parks of the Great Dividing Range are 30 minutes to the north east and Toowoomba the Garden City capital of the Downs is 1 hour to the north. Warwick is Only 2 hours from Brisbane, and under 3 hours drive from the Gold Coast.
